RFID Tag Identification of Occupant or Assets Associated with a Vehicle

As an option to all of the Matrix Vehicle Telematics solutions, RFIDs can identify vehicle occupants or any asset associated with the vehicle.

Matrix Asset Monitoring Via RFID Tags

RFID asset monitoring is an optional addition to the Matrix GPS Telematics system and is suitable to monitor any or all of the following in association with the vehicle.

  • Trailer attached to the vehicle.
  • Occupants within the vehicle.
  • Skips on the back of a delivery vehicle.
  • Valuable assets or tools inside a vehicle.
  • Palletised delivery applications.
Identification of current or last asset position
  • The current position is shown on the web based Matrix system if in range of an associated vehicle.
  • The last known position is shown where an asset was left by an associated vehicle.
